A culinary harvest

After harvesting my garlic crop , on the longest day in mid December, I laid it out on the table on the deck to dry over the summer whilst we were at Lake Tarawera. It was beautifully dry and ready to store on our return home yesterday, so this morning at 7am, I took the dried foliage from the bulbs and put the dried material into the compost bucket, leaving it on the deck till I got dressed! The golden early morning sun caught it beautifully!
