Late summer's hydrangeas

I was heading out into the garden to look for a blip when the light shining through this vase of late sumer hydrangeas caught my eye. They fade to such highland  heather muted shades of soft  teal through to grey and dusky maroon...delicious : )) Makes me want to design a quilt!
