Finished

At last I have finished this piece of work. It was one of those projects that presented problems all the way, and even now I am not 100% happy with it. The embroidery went quite well, it was with the making up that I had problems.
It is the cover for the Visitors Book in the Surrey Room at the WI's Denman College. Here all the bedrooms are adopted by counties who are responsible for furnishing them, not only with basic furnishing but also with pictures, books and little craft luxuries. The same friend S that I talked about two days ago is responsible for the Surrey Room and she asked me to make a book cover. If I had known what trouble it was going to be, I might have said no!
