Squirrels' playground

These two squirrels chased each other around the tree trunk several times, and down to the tip of a branch, had a few fisticuffs with flirtatious tails, then dashed off to separate perches for a quick groom before disappearing in opposite directions. I caught them just before they vanished: one is leaping onto the shed roof; the other is disguised as a branch at about "eleven o'clock".

Their playground is level with my mum's first floor flat lounge window. As soon as the branches start to wave violently, a squirrel is sure to appear. The pigeons and other birds seem to take no notice at all. Perhaps that will all change when they are nesting.
