Old Bridge

To compare with yesterday's picture of the two road bridges at Queensferry, here is the third bridge, the original bridge across the Forth, the rail bridge which opened in 1890.
The film of The 39 Steps had a very memorable chase scene which took place on the Bridge.
I took part in a Charity Abseil on the Bridge in 2012, abseiling 165ft from the railway level down onto the South Shore. Never Again!
