New bridge

Was down at South Queensferry today and noticed the progress of the new road bridge, the Queensferry Crossing, you can see the bridge piers in the background. It will be the third bridge to span the River Forth in a distance of less than a mile.
It's not too clear in the picture, but they are past the halfway stage in the construction. They seem to have made tremendous progress in a very short time and are apparently under budget too. It's due to open in 2016. It took more time to construct Edinburgh's trams than it will to build this bridge.
