Leopard's Bane

Today's the day ............................. that the sun shone

Wall to wall sunshine today - and hot with it.

It would be churlish to say that it was a bit too hot after all the recent moaning about chilly weather - but I'm sure the temperature would have been in the high 70s in our back garden this afternoon.

This Doronicum orientale or Leopard's bane always makes it look as if the sun is shining whatever the weather - so it's the perfect flower to represent today .............................
