Bonnet

Someone chose artistic means to highlight the layer of dirt on the van's bonnet, happily it was fairly subtle so I chuckled and photographed it.  Not so several christmases ago, when we returned home after a few days with the parents to find the almost-white house we were living in at the time adorned with a 4 foot member in blue spray paint.  There had been a spate of them (perhaps there is more appropriate collective noun?) in the local villages.  Fortunately we had some paint left over from the last coat the house had, which soon dirtied to the level of the surrounding wall.
