Green Shoots of Recovery
It’s nice to see that some of the bulbs in our garden have survived the garden revamp. Mrs W salvaged bulbs from parts of the garden we knew were going to be dug up only to discover that they had been chucked in one of the skips as the guys doing the work hadn’t realised that they were to be kept. Therefore, to see some bulbs popping shoots out the ground, feel like a bit of continuity can be maintained.
It will be quite exciting getting the chance to replant the garden because it is looking a bit bare at the moment as it has not exactly been planting season. We can get that underway soon but it is a shame that we will not get our usual splash of yellow from the many daffodils that we had accumulated over many years.
