lady enjoying the sun - Edinburgh
came through to Edinburgh today with my BFF to see the BP portrait award exhibition, the David Eustace exhibition and the two Roberts exhibition ...
But first I had to help carry a very large (but light!) painting with Sandy Moffat round to an auction house just off Leith walk ... to say this is possibly the most surreal event I have been involved in for ages and ages is understating things a little LOL ... let me explain ... BFF and Mr Moffat are directors of the Steven Campbell trust and I am the guy they know with a camera who works for museums n that - hence I get to take photos for them!!! - and well chuffed I am to be helping in my small way! ... anyway being a big strong (cough cough) chap I was volunteered to help Mr Moffat carry the painting round to sell it to raise funds for the trust! Having known and admired the painting Poets Pub for many years I was bowled over to be strolling along lugging his big painting, chatting about this that and the other ... 8-)
He's also letting me come back to take his photie in his studio 8-))
