Frozen...

Over night frost,so took advantage to spread a few loads of slurry before it got too sticky. The field was open cast sand and gravel before it was re instated and we got it back a few years ago. It needs to be either bone dry or frosty to be able to drive on the grass as there are no drains yet. This was phase 1. The blip is looking over the fence to phase 2,which they are still digging. It looks like a lunar landscape,and this is one of the water settling ponds which allows the sediment to settle out so only clean water gets back into the burn. They were meant to be finished by 2016, but now think it may be a further 10 years before the other 60 acres are dug and reinstated.
The sign says no swimming,but you would have to break the ice first if you were daft enough to try !
