Unimaginably beautiful

Tha Val Fex above Sils Maria has a timeless feel to it. We had not visited it since the summer and it was wonderful to be back. Now we understand the grading system of "difficult" on this classic cross-country ski route. The initial climb into the valley is challenging, but once there it is to be enjoyed.
Today many walkers, traditional horses and sleighs and cross-country skiers were all out enjoying the sunshine.
For us it was a well-earned hot soup at the restaurant and an entertaining ski down (a bit steeper than what we're used to)!
