Winter Osprey

When I first saw this bird perched in a tree across the creek at Pleasure House Point, but it was an osprey. Ospreys aren't supposed to be here in the winter, but in Florida, Patagonia, or some place in between. However, people have been noticing in the area over the past ten or so winters. It's not clear whether they are stay behinds or birds from up North who think our winters are just fine.
