Pleine Air Painting

I had a few other shots that I liked better than this one, but there is something special about watching somebody create a work of art. Especially of one of the "places" I go to.

I asked this lady if she ever sold any of her work. She replied..."I'm kind of just starting out, and I'm not very confident of my work yet." I left her alone with her painting, and went to shoot a few birds.

I later returned, and left her one of my Blip cards...with my cell phone number on it. "If you change your mind about selling it, give me a call. I'm not a rich guy, but Timmy likes what Timmy sees." (I didn't really say that last part. I hate it when people talk about themselves in the 3rd person.)

We're having company for the next couple of nights...our friends Marty and Toni from back home in Michigan. I made oven-fried chicken for dinner, and they brought...you guessed it...strawberry shortcake for dessert. WOO-HOO!
