Confrontation!!!

Dear Diary,

Gaylord and Rudy usually avoid each other, taking turns at the seed table but yesterday there was a confrontation at the seed bowl that was quite fun to watch.  Rudy courageously defended his claim chattering wildly in between grabbing a seed or two to snack on.  His eye never left Gaylord who seemed quite content to calmly gather stray seeds on the table.

Game to Rudy you would say but Gaylord is part fox I think.  When he finished all the seeds on the table he would make a mock charge at Rudy which would cause him to rear up to defend his bowl and thus scattering a few more seeds on the table!  Gaylord would return to his calm grazing as Rudy hyperventilated in the seed bowl.

Who was the real winner?  (Hmmm...there must be a lesson in this!)
