Swirling snow and shivering temperatures

With temperatures ranging from -17 to -3 degrees Celcius, it has been necessary to move fast outdoors. We had our first lesson in cross-country - the skating style - and pleasingly I picked it up quite quickly. Well, I wasn't hanging around in those temperatures and a semi-blizzard.
This was taken whilst dashing back through the village to German class, which was very challenging as we learned about the 4 cases, which don't exist in English. Aaaagh!
