Newtonian Telescope.....

to capture our full moon.

Went to the South Perth foreshore to try to practice taking moon over water fotos. Met an interesting couple who were using a very strong (and large) telescope called "Henry" to explore the night sky.

They showed us wonderful images of far off galaxies and an incredibly glowing white moon. It is the first time I had seen an image of the moon in such detail and it was very memorable.

Astronomy certainly makes you feel insignificant and that we should look after our earth.
