Thunder Downunder......

Driving home after work today spotted a huge coral tree on the Swan River foreshore uprooted and landed on top of someone's parked car - they are going to be in for a surprise!

Following the road around to our house, the road was littered with branches, tossed around wheelie bins and clearly a mini windy something had gone through our streets. Wondering what I was going to be in for when I got home because we have a lot of very large trees around our home.

Outside fine - inside not so good. No architect should be allowed to design box gutters and in this case our dining room, dining table and chairs had been flooded. No real damage but took an hour or so to clean up. Chairs outside to dry - hopefully sunny tomorrow.

I had been wishing for some summer rain but this was colossal. 

Storm chasers would have loved this.
