Before it fades....

We have had freezing snow showers all morning, but the snow has not settled. It is pretty miserable out there, a day for staying indoors but I met a friend and we went for a good dog walk, and it did not feel so cold when we were out walking. There was nothing inspiring on our walk that I wanted to photograph, everything looked cold and dull, so I came home and took some photos of these tulips before they finally die off.

It has been a week of catching up on movies on TV - we seldom get to go out to movies so when they are on Sky TV I try to see the ones I have missed. The Riot Club was brilliant but rather shocking, and last night I watched Gone Girl which was a very fast paced and stylish thriller - whew, I think Gavin can be thankful he does not have a wife like that!

Thanks to AnniAndChris for the tip about the colour setting on my camera - unfortunately I took this before I changed the setting, and once again the colour here on this website is much flatter and less vibrant that the original image.
