Olive Street Totem

We went to a meeting of the Cascade Canoe and Kayak Club this evening.

It was our pleasure to meet an exceedingly pleasant group of kayakers here in our new home town.

They had lots of expertise and enthusiasm to share.

As we learn more about kayaking in moving water we will have a whole new set of adventures to partake in with these folks.

The meeting was in a micro-brewery which is a way out of the ordinary place to find Kathy and me. Quite fun for us.

Walking along Olive Street in Eugene we came upon the totem pole sculpture that provided today's blip subject.
