Building Mural Eugene, OR

Living in very small towns for many, many years, Kathy and I find the "big city" charms of Eugene irresistible.

We attended a very fine concert today featuring the songs of Lorenz Hart performed by a very professional singer. She was accompanied by equally excellent musicians: pianist, bassist, and percussionist. The singer provided thoughtful commentary on Mr. Hart's life story and his songs. Her interpretations of the songs I found quite sincere and touching.

On the way to the concert we found a building mural that is new to us. We very much enjoyed the startling effect of looking into a portal to another place and time.

Kathy and I remain completely smitten with Eugene.
