The journey continues...

April fools day!

...but no fools today ha.

I slept in through my alarm today, whoops, but still managed to wake up at 9.30am leaving a good amount of time before my interview at 11am. We arrived and Maritza Wilde, the Director of the FITAZ festival, was already there. My first proper interview went really well with me asking most of my questions and Sharoll helping a lot by asking questions of her own and prompting Maritza into interesting areas.

Afterwards we went to the Consulado for breakfast. It's a cute little cafe/restaurant close to the centre of town. As you enter you come to a shop full of organic clothes, mostly Alpaca of course, and many other beautiful items such as purses, belts, hats and gloves. Further on there is sunroom filled with white wooden tables. The whole place has a really clean, naked feeling and it's very chilled and quiet. There is even a pretty little flower garden outside the sunroom. To top it all off the brunches are amazing! We were given freshly made tea and coffee, orange juice, warm bread with butter and jam, mini sausages, aubergine, peppers, eggs wrapped in bacon, diferent cheeses and ham. Everything was in mini form, it was perfect!

It was such a beautiful day but sadly after brunch it was back to the flat and back to work. Thankfully the beautiful day didn't last all day and so I didn't mind sitting in and working. It did take the entire day but by the evening I had finished my theatre review!!! yay. Such a relief! To celebrate Carina, Sharoll and I went to Kuchen Stube for cake and hot chocolate.

Afterwards Helena, Rodrigo and Sharoll went to the theatre whilst I listened to the recorded interview from earlier and tried to put all the information together. I didn't get too far because of the quality and it later stopped working...I am clearly not supposed to write this article! Instead I had a nice evening reminiscing over old videos. They really are the best of memories, I need to remember to take more!
