Yellow Poppy

Today my first yellow poppy opened. I treasure this small flower--the seeds were given to Christine and I as we rode our bikes past Mary's garden--a tiny women who kept an immaculate garden. She had a border of these poppies that was just amazing, and agreed to let us have some seeds. I haven't had the luck to fill an entire border, but they do keep coming back every spring!
