Daisies in the Rain
Today was a mixed bag for me. I have been feeling a bit down in the dumps. No particular reason why....well, perhaps the dentist advising me I need FOUR crowns had something to do with it. I hate the curse of bad teeth!
This afternoon, I decided to go to the fresh market in the little nearby town. I thought seeing all the pretty flowers there might bring my spirits back up. And it did. I bought a pretty hanging basket with a deep red tuber Begonia...it is soooo pretty on the front porch!
We also were blessed to receive two pretty hanging baskets from our friends who sell flowers to stores. Now there is lots of pretty color on the porch and the Hummingbirds seem to be enjoying the selection!
Late this afternoon, I was Blipless, so I braved the rain with a big golf umbrella and walked down to take some photos of the Daisies growing out front. Several years ago, Husband and I planted meadow flowers on the leach field, but not being able to distinguish flowers from weeds as the new growth appeared, the weeds won out. However, every year, a patch of Daisies appears and I am fairly certain they are the product of our endeavor.
And so, Daisies in the rain....
