Early Spring
What Groundhog?....Our wrens are furiously looking at possible nesting locations, cardinals are singing their "Hey, look at me!" songs, and the trees are beginning to seriously bud out! Owls and possums are filling the nights with their 'melodic' songs of attraction and the reptiles are emerging to begin their seemingly never-ending search for insects. This is a close-up of a Chickasaw Plum tree's blossoms and tiny new leaf starts.
