Early Promise

My gardening is of the nature "find a space, plant it, and let it get on with it". So I sometimes I find things growing with no real idea what they are. However, I'm pretty sure that this is an Allium about to burst out and, in Alan Titchmarsh's words, "flower its socks off".

I'm not too sure about the colour - it's more or less as it came out of the camera, but I'm sure its too red - still as it's now nearly midnight I can't check! Anyway, I'll probably blip it again so can check the colour then.
