Dandelion clock

Busy day today.

Did the shopping this morning (and probably spent more money than I should).

The climbing rose in the front garden had broken away from the trellis a few weeks ago, so the next job was to try and give it some new support. Having nothing suitable about the house, it was off to the garden centre for wire and vine eyes (and a few plants found their way into the boot as well).

Back home and with some scratches and scrapes later the rose is now hopefully safely secured to the wall again.

Looking around I noted the hedge at the back was trying to take over the pavement and block the back alley (bit of an exaggeration, but not much). So out with the hedge trimmer, and few more scratches later another job done.

This all took much longer than expected so tomorrow I will have to settle down and write the programme for my choir's concert next week. In the meantime there was just enough time for a few quick blips of some dandelions before going in to cook dinner. I was going to post one with a full seed head, but felt that this was more interesting and reminded me of a clock, and the march of time today.
