Precision and perfection in position

Bishop Peter decided to sort out the position of 4 choir pews that have been annoying him since Christmas.
I said that I would lend some muscle to help move them, but I hadn't anticipated the use of a tape measure.
It sounds daft and looked rather funny, but we desired some symmetry between the two sets of two opposing pews, so the measuring tape was the best solution.
