Beautiful Blue!!

I had a wonderful day at a wonderful area to watch birds called the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge. I went with two friends I met as I was watching an eagle nest last summer. They are sweet ladies I really enjoy.
We saw a pair of Bald Eagles "courting" and spending a lot of time in or near the nest. We also saw many kinds of ducks that I had not seen before......and some I recognized. There were several Great Blue Heron, Wren and Sparrows. I loved the experience. I choose this photo of our common Scrub Jay because ultimately it was the clearest shot of the day.
