Egg & Spoon Race

Today H and O's Granny came to visit today and as it was glorious weather, they spent most of the day in the garden. O was a little bit unsettled with wind and was particularly hungry today so I seemed to spend most of my time indoors feeding and settling him or making dinner. H bounced on her trampoline and played hide and seek with Granny, and I gave her a new game to play with - an egg and spoon race set. We didn't have many actual races but she liked the beanbag eggs that fall out of the middle when the shells fall and crack open!

We had a lovely roast chicken dinner followed by apple & blackberry pie, then hubby drove his mum into meet her friend at the theatre. Unfortunately the show they had tickets for had been cancelled a while ago and they hadn't been notified so there were a few disappointed and angry people.
