Forged

So too are great stories. Writing class had us examining form, perspective and point of view tonight. We tore stories apart and rewrote them for different angles, created different stories.

It was to help us to see things in a different way, to help us to write in a different way. It was interesting, but I found it quite a bizarre exercise. It wasn't my story and I don't construct my stories in the same way as the exercise insinuated - so my brain found it quite difficult.

Like the photo, we started with distinct ideas, which got merged together and forged into something different at the other end. Definitely something to think about, it's good to think about things in different ways - but I'm not going to dwell on it too much!
