Oooh cake!

I had the day off work today, having decided a long weekend was in order.

I was up nice and early and headed out for a run. A nice 4 miler and no real pain to speak of - a slight twinge in my ankle and a weird neck issue. But asides from that, everything was fine.

Then a trip over to Glasgow to see Angela and Grayson. We went to the Blythswood Hotel for another instalment of the Afternoon Tea Tour. We had afternoon tea in the spa before Christmas and it was delightful - scoring a massive 35.5/40 - so we were expecting great stuff. The salon afternoon tea, however, was a disappointment - coming in at 27.5/40. It was nothing special!

That didn't stop Grayson wanting a wee cake though! He's only 10 months old so sadly he didn't get any this time - thankfully his chair was just out of reach!
