Monday: The Cabbies' Hut

Back in meetings for the next few days but this time in the most bizarre meeting room.  It is so old and unused that it has instructions on the wall telling us what to do in the event of an air raid and instructing us to keep our gas masks with us at all times.  I feel like I should be moving plastic battleships round a table with a long stick.

It is also freezing and the person who was supposed to deliver our tea and biscuits in the break couldn't find us in our basement location so they never materialised.....

Before my fingers froze off at work I did manage a photo en route.  These cabbies' huts are dotted all over London and were originally set up in the late 1800s to dissuade cabbies' from hanging out in the pubs too much.

Too chilly to go far tonight so K. and I, together with my colleague, Helen, just popped over the road to the local Italians.
