Steeeeewart

Went to see Devils play Coventry Blaze tonight. The Coventry netminder is an eccentric chap called Brian Stewart. We like to taunt him by calling his name in a teasing manner, because at the start of the season he had a major tantrum which affected his game, and we went on to win. We also chant "it's all your fault", and helpfully, someone put a banner up proclaiming this behind his goal. He had a typical performance last night, tipping the net over, berating the goal judge and gesticulating to the crowd. He also played very well, and is an excellent keeper to be fair. I like him - reminds me of the adage that goalkeepers (and especially hockey netminders) are like drummers - they're 'characters'. Here he does one of his otiose stretching manoeuvres.
