Blip test ...

We have never had more than 'disposable' pets before .... you know, mostly goldfish or hermit crabs that don't have much personality.

Now we are home, we have succumbed to the request for a 'real' pet. We have been doing our research and went to the animal shelter today and found a likely candidate. He passed the most important test, which was making sure he was happy to step in for an emergency blip when needed.
