Crash Boom Bang!

This morning was a comedy of errors and I only wish Blip had video so I could give you the play by play.  I'm sure you would be rolling on the floor laughing.
We were all sitting around in the family room and my grandson was trying to teach Dillon how to jump over the piano bench.  After many treats he got him to jump up onto the bench and then jump down to the floor.  He couldn't get him to jump over the bench in one shot. 
My husband said that you have to show him how to jump over you can't just stand  on the other side with a treat.  He said, "I'll show him."  I told him he was crazy but he was confident he could do it. 

He took a treat and let Dillon smell it.  Then he backed up and took a few running steps towards the bench.  His one foot hit the seat which caused it to open and then the bench went down sending the sheet music flying all over and my husband went splat on the ground.  He was fine and got up quickly but the rest of us were laughing so hard we could barely breathe. 
Just as we picked up the bench and sheet music, this giant clock I have hanging above the doorway came crashing down off the wall.  I guess the vibration of my husband jumping and hitting the floor must have loosened the nail.  It certainly added to the excitement.  Now I need a new clock but at least I don't need a new piano bench.....or a new husband.  ;-)
