A Fine Balance

It was a lovely day, remarkable for the clear view over the Bay to the Monterey peninsula. A stroll and a nice sit by the water were the perfect activities for two ailing creatures. I think Mr S is much improved, and I rejoiced to wake up without a headache!  Last night I took two acetaminophen and watched a Woody Allen movie, and I leave it to you to draw whatever conclusion you like about the treatment. Walking and riding in cars are both pretty jarring for the rest of my achiness, but I am improving. I finished reading Pride and Prejudice in the comfort of the sunny patio, and managed to knit a few more rows on the shawl I started a few days ago.
