Loughrigg Across Rydal Water

An early start to get to the event in Ambleside. The walk to the start was an epic which was just below the summit of Wansfell. Details asked you to allow 60mins to get there.

As an early starter there were no tracks to follow through the snow and navigating round the crags and knolls in an icy wind was certainly a challenge. The wood was very physical and technically challenging. Despite this I enjoyed a well planned course just need to be fitter!

Back home after a very active and enjoyable weekend. This was a quick stop this morning on the way to the event.
