Descent from Easedale Tarn
We thoroughly enjoyed our Park Run at Fell Foot Park today. Made even better by meeting up with good friends Jane and David Binks who used to be in our orienteering club.
We then returned to the Youth Hostel to change into our walking gear and also for an early lunch. The wind was quite strong but we had already decided on a lower level walk up to Easedale Tarn alongside Sour Milk Ghyll. The snow was melting but we were glad of our walking poles, particularly on the descent. Those without poles were finding the conditions rather slippery.
Another good evening meal. What a fantastic way to spend the weekend!
