Tucked away and hiding from the light...

Completely the wrong time of day to be shooting... Early afternoon... harsh light spilling down through holes in the canopy creating large lurnt out areas in patches of shade... but having not been out with the D800 on a tripod I just had to shoot anyways :-)

ISO 50 bought me a bit longer exposure to get the water smoother but ISO 50 is not a native ISO for the camera. From what I understand it acheives it by clipping a stop off the highlights. So even though I have pulled the highlights back here to counteract the bright areas there are still a few spots that have burnt out.
