Colonial Yellow
The majority of our holiday was in Hoi An, in the centre of Vietnam. Here the "old town" section is a protected area, where shopkeepers are required by law to have old fashioned lanterns around their shop fronts, and certain buildings are required to be painted yellow, apparently to keep the area looking how it did when the French Colonialists were in power back in the day…
Isn't she lovely.
