Back-blip 1 of 3…..

First day of my business to Munich having driven 2 hours in heavy traffic to Birmingham airport. I'd waited 20 minutes in a biting wind and snow flurries for the hotel courtesy bus before realising that it doesn't operate during the early afternoon, duh. So I headed for the taxi rank and there was no waiting around for there. I must have counted nearly 50! 

Apparently there's a fast track line, whereby if the cabbie gets back within 20 minutes he stays in the fast track. Otherwise he joins the others and can wait over 3 hours for his next fare!  It turns out that my journey was on the borderline so he was in hurry to drop me off.
