On my own

Took a rare trip into the centre of Edinburgh today to ensure that Miss L and Miss K got the train to London where they will spend the weekend with Mme A. Took a few photos in the beautiful sunshine, but they were either too cheesy or didn't work, and really needed to get back to work.

Had hoped to make the most of my liberty by going up some snowy mountains with a colleague, but the forecast made it seem too lemming-like. So, having not got much work done at home yesterday, I'll spend a calm uninterrupted day making the final revisions to a paper which should have been done over Christmas. Unfortunately, I now can't find the annotated draft!
