Edinburgh Castle

It snowed last night! When I got up this morning there was about a centimeter of snow lying on the ground, I figured if there was that amount down here in Leith, beside the water, there would probably be much more in town. By the time I sorted out emails and stuff and had some soup for lunch (made yesterday) most of the snow had gone in Leith but I was still hopeful there would be a lot in town, but it had been sunny all morning and I guess a lot of the snow had melted.

For today's Blip I chose this panorama, it's actually 4 images overlapping side-by-side and stitched together using Image Composite Editor (ICE) It's a pretty good free bit of Windows software for stitching panorama images together, easy to use and does a good job.
