Soup

I was feeling a bit rough the last couple days with a sore throat, snuffly nose and a slight cough. I was convinced it was the start of a cold and because I hadn't been sleeping very well I didn't take any pictures but I was feeling much better today. I still didn't venture out but I did have the energy to make some soup, it started off as carrot and tomato with a parsnip, a chili and a large potato and some cinnamon, but I decided to throw in the last of my Haggis. I then blended it all up and mixed in some single cream.

It actually tasted pretty good, definitely a strong taste of Haggis but also fairly spicy hot, much hotter than I expected considering I only put in a single chili.

I tried to make a nice swirl effect with a dribble of cream but it ended up being the odd design picture.
