Brilliant

Brilliant colour in these Crocus.  Brilliant day for Ruth at college. 

A very special form of Crocus reticulatus, outside the petals are creamy with bold purple feathering, inside a vibrant purple/blue.  One of the most striking crocuses I grow.  (Brought indoors to open the flowers after the weather turned cold again.

Ruth's latest college is turning out to be lots of fun.  Better still they are moving her onto a course which should prove right up her street.  She came out this afternoon positively buzzing with excitement :-)
