Au revoir, mum ..

I took mum into the care home. There were tears, of course, partly because it always comes as a bit of a shock to her. I hardly give her any warning at all because she'd only get into a state.

She looked out of the window to our garden before we left home and said how lovely it is here - which it is - but I said I needed a bit of a break and even she might enjoy a change of scene (I don't think either of us believe that bit!)

Auntie and Mama came for a visit, but weren't liking the strong wind.
