Canada Goose family

Last month in April we watched the mother goose on her nest on a high rock in our bay and also saw the pair fend off an eagle attack. Here they are (I think) alive and well. Actually there is a group of 14 geese that hang out together - they must be related. Besides this family of 5 , there is another pair with 4 older "teenage" goslings an extra pair (aunt and uncle?) and 1 single extra goose - maybe Grandma? Couldn't manage to get them all in one picture so I'm going to put the other on flicker . It seems there are more of these guys this year -they are pretty much a nuisance- too much goose poop on the shore.
Our friends left today - they were such great help with the float and the boats and we ate so well and had a good time, even got some good rowing in --but we will be happy to watch a dvd tonight and NOT talk. :-)
