The Paper

I have a new painting to show you but decided this was more entertaining. Dame Smitty has always preferred a newspaper to lay on rather than a blanket or someone's lap. For some reason, every winter she starts ripping paper. As you can see, this once full-sized newsper is like a tiny ripped up island. She grabs it with her teeth and flings the little shreds all over the couch and floor. She must be suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder.
