This is an acrylic on board painted by my friend, Gwen, from painting class. I got to watch over her shoulder as she painted it but I didn't know her very well then and when I told her how much I loved it, I think she thought I was just being nice. well, it stayed in my head so, some time ago, I offered to buy it. She very politely refused to sell. To make a long story shorter, I've offered to buy it (make that begged) so many times that she finally gave up and just gave it to me. Today, after I joined the ladies for lunch. :0) I went straight to the store for a frame and got it on the wall before she could change her mind. I LOVE it.
